Snow Bear Batik (Gildan Small)
To batik, I layer beeswax and dye to create images, and the beeswax crackles and the dye sneaks through in the most satisfying way. I personally have adored batik from the moment I laid eyes on the art form and am happily working to improve my own batiking skills.
The shirts are pre shrunken, so if you are in between sizes, I would recommend going up a size. (I boil the whole shirt in water for 10-20 minutes to remove the beeswax)
For longevity of the dye I do recommend to wash cold and hang dry the item. Thanks for being here!
